01/01/2004: New Year's course in Hamburg
Hamburg 2003 - A wonderful course at a well established location.
Only one day before it looked as if Lama Ole couldn't make it. Right after checking out of hospital he was in a car taking him to Hamburg. So many friends, he just wouldn't rest.
All friends gave him a shining an applauding welcome, and they came from many countries. Some only for one night just to get a blessing and to see the teacher. Everybody with thankfulness and fully aware how precious our time together is.
The Great Seal course was resoundingly successful and soon Ole's full commentary on the Wishes of the Third Karmapa will be available in the shop. A film team already edited all the footage and did a great job. Soon we will not only have the book but also the live transmission to hear and see!
The opportunity to follow the course over the Internet was heavily used by many centers around the world. Courses took place inluding the Hamburg teachings. Luckily we had aranged the program to take place in English, making the direct transmission of our heart teachings possible for all.
A round conclusion was offered by the Hamburg friends by inviting to a dinner event on New Year's eve and, of course, a tuning in into the New Year by the Bodhisattva promise. We are taking off - around the world! After five months of recreation a quite touching moment for CHO. You understand... and we are looking forward to see you all!
