The 31st of July was our "lucky day." While skydiving Lama Ole fell right out of the sky - and survived. Meanwhile, the toughest times are now behind us. After many obstacles in a small hospital in Kassel, we were able to relocate to a specialist clinic in Heidelberg, and since then Lama Ole has received the best of care. However, bones grow much slower than we had imagined, and it will still be a few months before Lama Ole can sit in the lotus position and teach with full power again.
Time seems to be standing still, but we've been using it, as we've heard many others have also, to reflect on the past, and to forge plans for the future as Ole's body regains its strength. The first "important" meetings are already taking place, and in a few days we'll be back on the autobahn for the first time, on the way to the Frankfurt airport. We're flying again... to see you all in Spain.
