Ellen, Ramona and I have tears in our eyes. Even Kai and Andi are touched. This was a big day for us. For about 20 years we have been working on the idea of integrating Diamond way into modern society.
When the bishop, the representatives of the DBU (German Buddhist Union) and the senate, building authorities together with Karmapa, Lama Ole, 15 Lama dancers and everyone celebrated 25 years of Buddhist Center Hamburg together, we really embraced each other. As Karmapa blessed the meditation room, suddenly it started to rain which we subconsciously noticed as a mark for growth. After all the many hundreds of guests had left and the open-day had successfully ended, Karmapa opened Marpa's powerfield for all. We said goodbye to the lamas and we showed Karmapa all the rooms and all children received a blessing and, and, and… then we heard it again: the pattering…it continues still.
